June 25, 1922 — March 6, 2010

Ella V. Bryant was born June 25, 1922 in Grandfield to R.J. and Mary Agnes Gellner. She passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010 in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age of 87. Services were held Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Lunn’s Colonial Chapel with Dr. Isaac Butterworth, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial was in the Randlett Cemetery in Randlett under the direction of Lunn’s Colonial Funeral Home.

Ella married Johnnie Taylor Bryant on March 24, 1940 in Frederick. She was a homemaker. Ella was passionate about her family and friends. She loved to watch her grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate in sports and other activities. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother.

Ella is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of more than 50 years, Johnnie Taylor Bryant; a son, Johnnie Lee Bryant; siblings, Emily Watson, Edward Gellner, James Gellner and Eveyln Pannell; and two sons-in-law, Ken Berry and Robert Green.

Survivors include eight children, Zack Bryant and wife, Lynn, of Colleyville, Texas, Cendy Boyd and husband, David, of Jonesboro, Ark., Linda Holbrook and husband, Robert, of Wichita Falls, Pat Dunn and husband, Robert, of Kamay, Texas, Vickie Hopson and husband, Ernie, of Wichita Falls, Rickie Bryant and wife, Julie, of Anahuac, Texas, Donna Green of Waurika, and Debbie Berry of Wichita Falls; one brother, Pershing Gellner of Randlett; one sister, Edna Michna of Lake Jackson, Texas; 19 grandchildren, Vivian Miser, Dana Kirkpatrick, Robbie Kelly, Gerald Green, Daella Box, Amber Williams, Cody Bryant, Kendra Pierce, Missy Cox, Kendra Kerr, Jenny Sisk, Desiree Kenyon, Deena Boyd, Lisa Miller, Alicia Berry, Dustin Hopson, Dana Boyd, Coyt Berry and Kloe Berry; 35 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
