Santos Rodriguez was born April 3, 1953 in Maypearl, Texas to Florentino and Guadalupe Campos Rodriguez. He passed from this life Saturday, June 5, 2010 at his home in Waurika at the age of 57. Funeral service was held Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the San Jose Catholic Church with Father Wolf officiating. Burial was in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika.
Santos was self-employed and was a member of the San Jose Catholic Church in Ryan. He and Juanita “Janie” Alvarado were married May 19, 1979 in Waurika.
Santos is survived by his wife, Janie, of the home in Waurika; his parents, Florentino and Guadalupe; his children, Ruben Rodriguez and wife Sandra, James Rodriguez and wife Senera, and Leroy Rodriguez and wife Michelle, all of Waurika and Frankie Villarreal and Solia Garcia of Florence, Texas; seven grandchildren, Adrian, Gabby, Alan, Cassidy, Lindsey, Jason and Trey.
