First Bank and Trust makes some changes

WAURIKA — First Bank & Trust Co. announced the retirement of James Montgomery after 40 years of banking and the promotion of Joanna Dyer as the Banking Center Manager of the Waurika office. Jared Wilson will take on the role as the primary loan officer.

James Montgomery, originally from Ryan, resides in Waurika and has one daughter, Kallie. He earned his Bachelors of Business Administration at UCO and began his banking career Jan. 1, 1979. He became the Senior Vice President, President of Jefferson County for First Bank & Trust Co. in April 2008. James is a member of the First United Methodist Church and is the Director of the Waurika Lake Master Conservancy. He is also a member of the Waurika School Foundation.

Joanna Dyer resides in Waurika with her husband, Michael. They have two children, Jared and Karen and four grandchildren. She began her career in the financial services industry in 1977 and was recently promoted to Vice President/Operations Officer at First Bank & Trust Co. where she has also been a Financial Services Officer, Security Officer, and Service Specialist. Joanna is a Director of the Waurika Chamber of Commerce and has served on the Finance Committee as the Secretary/Treasurer for the Waurika Jr. Livestock and Jefferson County Junior Livestock. She has also served on the Finance Committee for the Waurika First Baptist Church, where she is also a member. She is the Secretary/Treasurer for the Waurika FFA Trophy Auction.

Jared Wilson joined First Bank & Trust Co. in August 2009 as Assistant Vice President and Loan Officer. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in Business. Jared currently resides in Waurika with his wife Janene and their daughter, Alexis. Jared is a member of the Waurika Chamber of Commerce, the Waurika Young Farmers Association and the Healdton Church of Christ.
